Coronavirus (COVID-19)

If you are planning on travelling distance to attractions, we would recommend that you contact the venues directly in advance to avoid disappointment.

If you, or any of your party have a new persistant cough, or develop a fever of 38C, we would instead advise you to use the NHS's dedicated website for professional advice.

Callendar House

Situated amidst magnificent park and woodland, Callendar House tells stories spanning 600 years of Scottish history.
Through wars, rebellions and the industrial revolution, the house has played host to many great historical figures over the centuries, including Mary, Queen of Scots, Cromwell and Bonnie Prince Charlie.
Costumed interpreters bring history to life, creating the most exciting kind of interactive experience.
Open daily, the 1825 Kitchen forms the centre-piece of this interactive experience and you can sample authentic Georgian food, listen to stories about life below stairs, and watch kitchen staff go about their daily tasks.
The Forbes’s Falkirk exhibition on the top floor of the house occasionally includes costumed interpretation on early 19th century clockmaking, shopkeeping and printing, however, you are advised to check availability of this service before you visit.
With a changing programme of temporary exhibitions and events, archives, gift shop, The Park Gallery and Teashop at the Stables, a day out at Callendar House offers something for everyone.
